Match Preview
Polokwane City enter this fixture under pressure after their defeat to Kaizer Chiefs, extending their barren run to nine matches without a victory. Their biggest concern is in attack — the side has failed to score in their last five outings, a statistic that highlights their urgent need for a clinical edge. Before this clash, they meet Siwelele, a match that could influence their rhythm and confidence ahead of facing an in-form Durban City.
Durban City, managed by Gavin Hunt, are enjoying a positive spell. Having secured four consecutive wins against Chippa United, TS Galaxy, Cape Town Spurs, and Black Leopards, they have also impressed defensively, keeping three clean sheets in a row. Before locking horns with Polokwane City, they face Golden Arrows Durban, another test that could further build their momentum.
This fixture sets up an intriguing battle between a side searching for goals and another thriving on consistency and defensive resilience.
