National Phase Overview

The national phase began on September 10, 2025, featuring 32 teams: | Source

  • 20 regional champions (one from each autonomous community, with two from Andalusia and one each from Ceuta and Melilla).

  • 5 teams from the 2024–25 Segunda Federación that did not qualify for the 2025–26 Copa del Rey.

  • 7 teams from the 2024–25 Tercera Federación that did not qualify for the 2025–26 Copa del Rey.

The competition follows a knockout format, with teams divided into four groups of eight based on geographic proximity. Each group plays three single-elimination rounds, and the winner of each group advances to the final phase. All four semi-finalists earn qualification for the 2025–26 Copa del Rey.
