South Africa’s Premier Soccer League transfer window has delivered notable activity across the league, with Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns making important moves ahead of the business end of the season. Several other PSL clubs have also strengthened their squads in preparation for a competitive second half of the campaign.
Kaizer Chiefs
Kaizer Chiefs added young attacker Xhosa Manyana from Cape Town City as part of their plan to strengthen attacking depth. The club also loaned out a number of young players to gain experience, including Nkosana Mbuthu (Leicesterford City FC), Manqoba Ozoemena and Ofentse Kgosana (Casric Stars), and Bobo Sima (Mochudi Centre Chiefs).
Orlando Pirates
Orlando Pirates were among the busiest clubs in the market. They signed Andre De Jong from Stellenbosch FC, while Daniel Msendami and Mpho Chabatsane arrived from Marumo Gallants. Monnapule Saleng returned from loan before later completing a move to Mamelodi Sundowns. Defender Mbekezeli Mbokazi secured a move to MLS side Chicago Fire, while several players including Tshegofatso Mabasa, Sifiso Luthuli and Siyabonga Ndlozi were loaned out.
Mamelodi Sundowns
Mamelodi Sundowns strengthened their squad with the signing of Monnapule Saleng from Orlando Pirates and Brayan Leon from Independiente Medellin. Khulumani Ndamane joined from TS Galaxy, while Matias Esquivel and Kobamelo Kodisang returned from loan spells. Mosa Lebusa departed for Stellenbosch FC as Sundowns continued to fine-tune their squad.
Stellenbosch FC
Stellenbosch FC added Tshegofatso Mabasa on loan from Orlando Pirates and signed Mosa Lebusa from Sundowns. Kobamelo Kodisang also joined on loan. Andre De Jong was their main departure after completing a move to Orlando Pirates.
AmaZulu FC
AmaZulu strengthened their attacking options by signing Mason Mushore, Luyolo Slatsha and Gustavo Lopes. Thembela Sikhakhane was among those who left the club.
Richards Bay FC
Richards Bay FC completed signings for Joel Madondo, Thembela Sikhakhane and Tuli-Ngenovali. Mbulelo Nombengula departed during the window.
Sekhukhune United
Sekhukhune United added Tidiane Diomande from Stade d’Abidjan and renewed contracts for several players as they focused on squad stability.
Durban City
Durban City boosted squad depth with loan signings including Ronaldo Maarman, Siphiwe Mahlangu and Emmanuel Jalai.
Siwele FC
