Something About MTN8 Cup Competetion

The best eight teams from the previous Premier Soccer League season compete in the MTN8 event in South Africa.

The MTN8 is currently being defended by Orlando Pirates, who won it the previous year during Jose Roveiro’s first campaign in South Africa.

The Buccaneers, who won the MTN8 tournament for the eleventh time, won it for the first time in 1972 when it was originally held.

The Chiefs have won 15 titles total since their first one in 1974, making them the most successful team in this sport.

But since 2014, Amakhosi has not increased the MTN8.

Sundowns has won four championships, which puts them in third place after Swallows and SuperSport, who have each won it three times.
